Problem mit NetConnect 3: Voyager 3 startet nicht !
Leider funktioniert die Version 3 von Voyager, die sich auf der NetConnect
3-CD befindet, nicht richtig und stürzt beim Starten sofort ab. Sie müssen daher das Update mit einem
anderen Web-Browser oder mit mFTP-Programm laden und installieren.
Die Adresse lautet: ftp://ftp.vapor.com/pub/voyager/. Die Datei liegt komprimiert als lha- und lzx-Archiv vor und
heißt: v3_prerelease5_011199.lha oder entsprechend ähnlich falls es ein weiteres Update gibt.

Laut dem Hersteller Active soll NetConnect 3 Anfang Oktober lieferbar sein. Neben Voyager 3, AmIRC 3, NetInfo 2
und Genesis sind jetzt die Programme MetalWeb 4 (wysiwyg HTML-Editor), mFTP 2 und WebVision 2 hinzugekommen. Weitere Details

Für Genesis gibt es jetzt eine erstes Update, einen Socks-Server
und eine Demo-Version.

Service Pack v2.2
Die Änderungen betreffen Genesis (neues Prefs-Layout für NC v2.1 User, neue PPP Features und kleinere
Änderungen) und Microdot-II (viele Bugfixes, Erneuerungen und Features wie z.B. PGP). Wenn Sie z.Zt. NC2.0
benutzen, müssen Sie zuerst NC 2.1 installieren. Wenn Sie NC 2.1 benutzen, müssen Sie den "Genisis_Converter"
aus dem "AmiTCP"-Verzeichnis benutzen, damit Ihre jetzige Konfiguration mit der neuen Prefs-Struktur
arbeitet.
28-Juni-98: NetConnect v2 verfügbar!
Lange hat es gedauert, doch jetzt ist das Internet-Komplett-Paket endlich soweit! Auch ein neuer professioneller
TCP/IP-Stack wird bald verfügbar sein und schlußendlich

Genesis SOCKS Server

A SOCKS server is now available for Genesis users. This allows you
to use your Amiga as a gateway to the Internet, with other computers (Amiga's, PC's, Unix, Mac machines) to link
to this Amiga as SOCKS clients.
Note:
- That you need to copy the 'socks5' file to AmiTCP:serv and the 'socksserver.mcp'
file to AmiTCP:mui.

NetConnect v2.3 Service Pack

A new service pack is available, v2.3. This contains a few small
changes and additions to Genesis (v1.0.4), Microdot-II (v1.2) and X-Arc (v1.3b).
Note:
- You must be using the NetConnect v2.2 service pack, before installing v2.3, or the programs
within this service pack will not function!

Genesis v1.0.4 Update

The Genesis v1.0.4 update is available for registered users of Genesis (not NetConnect users, please
download a NetConnect service pack). This contains a number of bug fixes and additions.
Note:
- Please run the accompanying genesis_converter if you are updating a version of Genesis prior to v1.0.
- This update is /not/ for NetConnect v2 users, despite them trying to
download and use it (nothing amazes me). Please download the latest NetConnect service pack v2.3 to obtain your
copy of Genesis v1.0.4.

NetConnect v2.2 Service Pack

The long awaited NetConnect service pack v2.2 is now available for
download. This contains updates to Genesis (new prefs layout for NC v2.1 users, new PPP features and more smaller
changes), Microdot-II (many bugfixes, improvements and some major features like PGP), Contact Manager (minor enhancements,
sorting) and X-Arc (minor fixes and a major new feature - ability to install from within an archive).
Note:
- If you are a NC v2.0 user you must download and install the NC v2.1 service pack, before installing the NC v2.2 upgrade.
- If you are a NC v2.1 user you will need to run 'genesis_converter' which is located within your 'AmiTCP:' drawer, after
installation. This changes your current configuration in order to work with the new prefs structure.

NetConnect v2.1 Service Pack

At last, the first service pack for NetConnect v2. This contains
updates for Genesis, AmIRC, Microdot-II, X-Arc and the Contact Manager. But please note:
- Docs are not completed, Genesis documentation to be updated for the
weekend (sorry!).
- This isn't the v1.0 (initial) release of Genesis, this will be this
weekend, along with some other features.
- You must run the GenesisPrefs before you run Genesis, in order to inialise new preferences settings

here is a newer cache browser which works with the Voyager included with the NetConnect v2 CD. Extract and copy
